Q1: Do you do Authoring or Mastering?
A: No we do not but we will be glad to provide you with the name of one of our partners that can provide that service.
Q2: Are price lists available?
A: Yes, please contact the Sales Department and they will assist you on this matter.
Q3: How long will it take to complete a project?
A: Each project varies, depending on the type, size and complexity of print. However, most projects can be completed within 7 to 9 business days. Please contact the Sales Department for further assistance.
Q4: What is needed from me to start a project?
A: 1. A Master Disc, 2. Artwork using our Templates and 3. Deposit (Contact Sales Department for clarification).
Q5: What is the difference between Duplication and Replication?
A: Duplication is often referred to as "Burning" a disc where the information is being copied directly onto the surface of the disc. Replication is the industry standard of major commercial releases. It is created by molding polycarbonate substrates and physically pressing the data into the surface of the disc.
Q6: Can you help with or design my artwork?
A: We have graphic artists who can provide guidance on developing your artwork. If you require more than that, our graphic artists can design or modify your artwork for you. Please contact a sales representative for rates.
Q7: Can I send my master disc electronically?
A: Yes, a client can upload a DDP or ISO file directly onto our FTP site. This method allows you to save both time and money. Please visit our website for upload instruction or speak with one of our sales rep for assistance. Alternately, a physical master can be sent to us via courier, mail or you can personally drop it off.
Q8: What resolution do you recommend me using when designing my artwork?
A: To get the best possible result a minimum of 300 dpi is preferred. Using anything less may result in poor quality print.
Q9: Do you test for sound quality?
A: We will not check for sound quality. It is the client's responsibility to listen to the audio. We will only check for errors in the data of the master disc to ensure there will not be any static or abnormal noises that could potentially distort or corrupt our manufacturing process.
Q10: What is the difference between a DVD-5 and a DVD-9?
A: A DVD-5 is a Single Sided/Single Layered disc with a data storage capacity of 4.7GB. A DVD-9 is a Single Sided/Dual Layered disc with a data storage capacity of 8.5GB.
Q11: Can you print CD and DVD Inserts and packaging for my projects?
A: Yes, we can provide print solutions for all your projects including CD inserts and traycards, DVD trapsheets, cardboard mailers and Digipaks. Please refer to the templates in our website for your specific project needs.
Q12: Do you have Digital Printing available?
A: Yes, We have Digital Printing as well for smaller projects and special jobs such as Posters, Flyers, Catalogues, and Post Cards. Please speak with one of our sales associates if you have any questions or require a quote.
Q13: Do you offer Fulfillment Services?
A: Yes, we offer a variety of fulfillment options depending on a client's project. Please speak with a sales team member about your specific requirements and rates.
Q14: Can I get a Rush turn on my order?
A: Yes, we can accommodate rush turn on a project. When speaking with our sales rep please let them know how quick you need it back and they can help you chose the best option available.
Q15: Do you have Duplication services for CD and DVD?
A: Yes, CD and DVD duplication is available along with thermal and/or Inkjet printing onto the disk. Please speak to a sales associate for quantity and rates.
